Lionel's Bild-A-Loco Kits & Motors
During the late 1920s and early 1930s, Lionel offered an 'O' Gauge No. 4U Kit that allowed hobbyists to build either a Cab Electric Locomotive or Stationary Motor. Bild-A-Loco Motors also appeared in Standard Gauge at about the same time, but not in kit form.
The parts pictured here were discovered at Madison Hardware in Detroit during the early 2000s. They include solid steel 'O' Gauge Axles and Brass Axle Bushings.
