Tin Lithographed HO Trains from 1950s Japan

Here's an interesting find for the HO train collector. Japanese tinplate lithographed toys were popular during the 1950s. The battery-operated robots and Bandai friction automobiles are especially valued by collectors. This toy train would be considered an oddity on a couple of different levels.
Between 1956 and 1959, General Motors built four GMDH-1 Demonstrators for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. The Japanese toy company T.N. Nomura modeled these in a DC powered locomotive with flashing red light at top. You don't find these in the wild very often.
